 | This is a bespoke staircase for a 17th century manor farmhouse in West Oxfordshire. The work we did spans two floors and two landings. Both staircases were curved, one above the other, and self supporting using little more than internal torsion. The staircase and landings was then clad in oak which was finished to give an appropriate feel to suit the property. The spindles were designed specifically to overcome a spacing issue with planning, so each tread had one spindle on the inside and two on the outside of the curve. Click for more details |
